Seoul became my new hometown in 2008. People couldn’t point out Seoul on a map, and were confused about what I was doing with my life. I tried to leave Seoul many times, but the city somehow always pulled me back, reminding me of its uniqueness.

I recently rewatched a show about Seoul that I co-produced with a team from SVT, the Swedish national television in 2014, the topics I bring up there, the way I describe Seoul, still stands:

Addictive, perhaps. A complicated love story of my life, most certainly. An intense sense of aliveness, for sure.
